My stained glass mirror isn’t perfect, why is that?

 

Each stained glass mirror or sun catcher is made by me, by hand, in my studio. All stained glass and mirrors are chosen by myself and are carefully handled. Due to the nature of stained glass & mirror, some parts or sections of the glass can have bubbles, dents, & even a scratch. These “imperfections” are usually only noticeable upon close inspection and should be thought of as lovely reminders of the use of “hand” in each piece. So I’d say all work produced is perfectly imperfect. It’s art! Enjoy it as it is.

 

Why does my order not match the photo exactly?

Each piece is made by hand and thus each piece will be unique from the last. It’s one of a kind, baby!

Secondly, while I should be able to match the stained glass color to the original in the photo, sometimes that glass will be discontinued from it’s manufacturer. However, when this occurs, a similar glass will be created and that new glass can vary from the photo slightly. As the artist I will do my best to make this transition as smooth and beautiful as possible. If there are any issues, just reach out!

 

What materials are used in your pieces?

 

I use high quality 60/40 lead solder as well as stained glass, mirror, and black or copper patina. Because lead is used, I recommend washing your hands after handling. Easy peezy!

Returns/Refunds?

 

Do to the nature of the artwork being made by hand, I do not accept returns or refunds. Please make sure you love the piece before buying it.

 

Shipping & Breakage

 

I ship each piece via UPS (US ONLY) & USPS 10-14 day (*Canada ONLY). Canada customers will be responsible for duties upon delivery if they want their piece insured for the full amount. I take special care and extra packaging steps to ensure your piece will not break on my behalf. If the piece is broken in transit, save all packaging and email me so i can file a claim; I will refund you or make you a new piece.

Eek! If your piece breaks at some point while in your home, please reach out to see if there is a way to do a repair for an additional fee. You will be responsible for shipping each way.

** Local pickup is available if you live in Los Angeles! The cost of shipping will be refunded to you if you choose this option.

*At this moment I am only shipping in the US, & Canada. I expect to ship worldwide in the near future.
